This was a preliminary design project for the Cargill wet mill in Memphis that I worked on when I was a Project Engineer at Middough Inc., working out of their Chicago office. The Memphis site had a corn oil refinery that refined crude corn oil from several of their wet mills in the Midwest. For this project, I developed a process simulation model in CHEMCAD of the entire refining, bleaching and deodorization process and preliminary P&IDs.
